FINDLAY Jean – Photo Album

JEAN FINDLAY – GOWER
15-2-1930 – 8-9-2017

Jean Findlay, a noted equestrienne from Taralga near Goulburn, moved her horse-riding business to Perisher Valley from Thredbo in 1962.
She had a dream to build a lodge in Perisher, and Valhalla was completed in 1964-65.
She provided riding lessons and trail riding until horses were banned from the National Park around 1974.
This scrapbook was compiled by one of her friends and has been photographed in the original A3 format art book.
Subsequently the contents have been moved to an A4 folder with heavyweight plastic sleeves for safe keeping and ease of viewing.
